Glow â¨
This isnât some âbefore-and-afterâ glow-up story. I didnât pull a âGrade 5 yearbook to hot-nowâ transformation. I donât get botox, my nails are far from perfect, and my hair often leans greasy (my husband lovingly calls it âchoi men noodlesâ đ). Most days, youâll find me in company merch and my Oodie, fully embracing cozy life vibes âď¸
âGlowâ is about the version of me who didnât know what she didnât know â the one who took her parentsâ words as truth because thatâs all she had. This is my break free era (thank you, Ariana Grande đś). Iâm learning I can rewrite my own script, seek knowledge, outgrow old norms, and glow up not in looks, but in understanding, confidence, and self-worth đą.

Dough đ
I love dough. Bread, donuts, cha siu bao, bolo bao (although not actually made with bolo â IYKYK đ). If itâs carby, count me in. But âdoughâ also means money. In my Chinese culture, money = success. Every New Year, someone shouts âKung Hei Fat Choi!â which literally means âwishing you wealth and prosperity.â Basically, we were manifesting money for as long as I can remember.
Over time, Iâve turned my money obsession into curiosity. I devoured financial books, binged money podcasts, and read endless articles â like Kirby inhaling knowledge đ. I even build spreadsheets and run scenarios for fun (yes, Iâm that person). But it hasnât always been healthy. That obsession once made me cheap, judgmental, and sometimes stingy. Iâm learning that while money is important, itâs equally important to recognize when you have enough. I am still figuring things out but I hope you can join me on that journey!
